The Model 1278K Mobile VSAT antenna system is a motorized, palletized Ku-band antenna utilizing the patented Roto-Lok® positioner available only from AvL Technologies. In combination with a 1.2M solid carbon-fiber reflector and an auto-acquisition controller for accurate, dependable, satellite communication world-wide, the antenna creates a mobile DSL/T1 line for 2-way, real-time transmission of video, voice, IP, and data via satellite. With maximum uplink wattage of 25 watts, this antenna is targeted especially for emergency communications, remote IP access, video conferencing, telemedicine, and business-to-business from any point in the world to any other point on earth. The lightweight design and platform can be adapted to mount on almost any vehicle, as small as an SUV or mini-van.

A cost-effective alternative to T1 installation, the antenna acquires the satellite in a matter of minutes with the one-button auto-acquisition controller that can be used by anyone. The Roto-Lok® cable drive, while reducing backlash to zero, is durable and highly-resistant to environmental factors including extreme heat, cold, dust, and pollution.
