YMCA and AvL Send Candy to Deployed Troops

The YMCA collected over 160lbs (and saved members from consuming many thousands of calories) of leftover halloween candy. Bins were placed at the Downtown Asheville Y and Woodfin Community Y to encourage members to pass their sweets on to deployed US troops around the world through Operation Gratitude which sends over 200,000 care packages annually.  AvL Technologies provided boxing and shipping services for the project.
