2.0m SNG/Commercial Vehicle-Mount/DriveAway Antenna

AvL makes numerous types of 2.0m rugged vehicle-mount antennas, with options including ruggedized Ku-band, ruggedized Ku-band/Ka-band ready, and single- or multi-panel reflectors.

The 2.0m rugged vehicle-mount / driveaway antenna family includes the following models:

  • Model 2000 is a rugged antenna with standard 2-port Precision Ku-band feed or optional 2-port Mode-Matched Ku-band or 2-port L-band
  • Model 2010 with 2-port Precision Ku-band feed (standard cross-pol comp.); this antenna is band-configurable and will operate with 4-port Ku-band or 2-, 3- or 4-port C-Band, and is 2- or 4-port Ka-band ready
  • Model 2012 with 2-port Mode-Matched Ku-band feed (enhanced cross-pol comp.); this antenna is band-configurable and will operate with 4-port Ku-band or 2-, 3- or 4-port C-Band, and is 2- or 4-port Ka-band ready

The AvL antenna control system is embedded on the antenna with a built-in compass, GPS and tilt compensation. The auto-acquisition controller is ethernet based, modem agnostic, OpenAMIP compliant, up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity, and operates with a web-based user interface that can be used on a phone, laptop or PC. The controller includes a satellite profile management system, a built-in AvL carrier/beacon receiver with an optional rack-mount interface panel or outdoor rated power supply and offers intelligent tracking and multi-orbit capabilities. Power requirements vary by antenna.
