85cm Tri-Band Motorized Tripod FlyAway Antenna

AvL’s 85cm 830-T FlyAway is a rugged yet lightweight antenna designed for rigorous use by military operators. The antenna packs into two IATA-compliant airline checkable cases and can be assembled by one person in 5 minutes. The antenna is flexible with modem, BUC and LNB options. As part of the PathFinder Digital BAT-GBS-85 terminal, the antenna operates on the GBS network and is ARSTRAT and MIL-STD-810G certified.

The AvL antenna control system is embedded on the antenna with a built-in compass, GPS and tilt compensation. The auto-acquisition controller is ethernet based, modem agnostic, OpenAMIP compliant, up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity, and operates with a web-based user interface that can be used on a phone, laptop or PC. The controller includes a satellite profile management system, a built-in AvL carrier/beacon receiver with an optional rack-mount interface panel or outdoor rated power supply and offers intelligent tracking and multi-orbit capabilities. Power requirements vary by antenna.
