Motorized FlyAway Antennas from AvL are available in a broad range of sizes and packaging for military and defense applications. Ranging in size from a 1.0m tri-band antenna that packs into two cases to the highly-robust but compactly-packaged and air freightable 4.6m multi-band quad-pod, each flyaway antenna is priced to include the AvL carbon fiber reflector and the AvL AAQ Auto-Acquire Antenna Control System for ease of operation. As with all AvL antenna systems, no laptop is necessary to operate the AAQ controller, the antennas interface with any modem, RF electronics or satellite service.
AvL’s Backpack / Manpack Manual FlyAway Antennas are lightweight, compact, portable, robust with carbon fiber reflectors and bases, and easy and quick to assemble. AvL’s Az/El positioners feature easy pointing as well as fine-tuning.
